Well as many of you know JJ and Shannon have been dating for over 4 years now! Now here is their little story. Believe it or not they actually started off as long distance for 7 months! Yea I know that’s insane considering how young they were. JJ lived in Minnesota and Shannon in Idaho. They met through mutual friends they shared and Shannon happened to know some of JJ’s family. It all started with hours of phone calls and FaceTimes which I know Shannon’s mom was annoyed at. Then finally in late December JJ flew out to Idaho to officially meet what was about to be the love of his life. It all started there on December 29th 2021. From there on JJ flew to see Shannon again in March then Shannon went to see him in Minnesota that same May! Then at the end of July of 2022 JJ moved to Idaho! From there they were inseparable! They were always together like love sick puppies. They even adopted 2 dogs during this time and their little family felt whole. JJ and Shannon lived in Idaho until May 2024 when they decided to up and move to Minnesota. It was there they got their first apartment by themselves. From there they faced many ups and downs including the loss of one of their puppies but then things started looking up. Within the first year and a half of moving they adopted yet another puppy with probably plenty more to come and in September of 2025 JJ proposed in Idaho surrounded by Shannon’s family. She couldn’t of planned it more perfectly. They bought their first house together in December of 2025! Now they are planning their next step of getting married! They are so excited to have all of you be apart of this next chapter of their lives! This is far from the end of their story! Stay tuned for the next crazy adventures these kids go on.
