Fungai met Ayo when he first came to the States to study abroad at Marshall University in 2010. Since they met, they have remained close friends and companions throughout the years. Ayo recently moved to Washington D.C so they can continue their adventures! Or maybe it was for a job? Not sure.

Taylor and Shannon were randomly placed together as freshman roommates at the University of Hartford. Often people end up hating their roommates, but Taylor and Shannon became best friends. They lived together for 2 years and stayed close even after Taylor moved to Florida to pursue her career in law enforcement. Visiting Taylor in Ft Lauderdale is one of Shannon's favorite Spring Break options!

Allan and Fungai go waaay back! Allan and Fungai's mums were really close friends which brought them together in Zimbabwe. Just recently, Fungai and Allan both realized they were both in Washington D.C and immediately started hanging out again. Allan is a super chill, easy going and fun person! Look out for him on the dance floor!

Best friends since Freshman year of college at University of Hartford in 2009, Jess and Shannon have always been fun-loving and goofy together! They both studied Special Education and went on to be teachers! Jess helped Fungai with executing the perfect proposal in Hartford, CT. This year they are both getting married!
Kuda Buhera

If you can't tell by his surprising good looks, Kuda is Fungai's youngest brother! Only separated by two years these two grew up pretty close to each other. They shared the same interests, hobbies and unfortunately at times, clothes! They also usually got into trouble together! Kuda recently moved to the US for his studies and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Marshall University.

Hana and Shannon were both education majors at the University of Hartford but what brought them together was their love for travel. Hana studied abroad in Israel the same semester Shannon studied abroad in Botswana. This bonded them together and helped to grow their friendship. They both still love to travel!

Deep is one of Fungai's newer friends he met through work. No one can out-Philly this kid! Deep and Fungai have known each other over a couple of years now and continue to become greater friends! Deep is easy going and undoubtably a good time to be around. If you are in need of a joke, make sure you find this guy!

Shannon met Mikaela her first year teaching in Washington D.C. They both were Special Education teachers that students thought were sisters! Shannon looked to Mikaela as an inspiring teacher and a kind friend. Although they teach at different schools now, Shannon knows she has a lifelong friend in Mikaela.

Chase is one of Fungai's friends that he met through work. Although they've only known each other for a couple of years now, Chase has become a really close friend to Fungai. Hailing from the warm sunny beaches of Carlsbad, Chase brings in a super chilled, easy going vibe. Chase and Fungai both played rugby together in D.C. Don't be intimidated by the beard!
