FAQs + Covid Update

Hello Everyone! Our wedding will officially be on 09/25/2021! Please update your RSVP if you haven't already!
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

August 31, 2021

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a stringent guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only, and we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you please arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony begins at 2pm, thus please arrive around 1:15-1:30pm.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

ALL options can be made gluten-free upon request! If there are any allergies or special diet requests, please make sure to mention them with your meal options!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask if you can be discreet (no standing in the pew or aisles as you may block others view) and no flash during the ceremony. There will be a professional photographer and videographer, and those will be shared with everyone once available. Please hold off on posting on social media until we have received our professional photos. We understand the excitement, however we hope you can put down the phones and focus on sharing our special day with us :)

Question

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony will be indoors. Reception is mostly indoors with an option to step outside if need be.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! :)

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures at Blackhawk Country Club for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

Question

Is there valet for the reception?

Answer

Yes, please follow the signs as you enter Blackhawk Country Club. Let the gatekeeper know that you are here for our wedding.

Question

Is there valet for the ceremony?

Answer

No, please park at St. John Vianney's lot. There is plenty of parking :)

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

It is an open bar for beer and wine. There will be a limited hosted bar for cocktails.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Smoking is allowed on the patio outside. Marijuana (nor any other illicit drugs) is NOT allowed on the premises.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided. We recommend to use uber/lyft or can arrange with your hotel with transportation needs.

Question

Will there be a coat check?

Answer

Yes
