Shannon & Edward

    Welcome
    Wedding Party

Wedding Party

Alexis

Maid of Honor

Alexis is Shannon’s older sister. Alexis is an attorney for SoBo & SoBo but has always been Shannon’s lawyer growing up. Protective over her baby sister she shares so many memories and continues to be there for her through thick and thin. More is to come during Alexis’s maid of honor speech!

Andy

Best Man

In the early 80s, in a small Queens apartment building. Both Andy and Ed’s parents and grandparents all closely lived together. It was here that Andy’s desire to pick on a “younger brother” flourished. Despite moving to Long Island and Ed moving to NJ. The two families routinely made an effort to see each other. Whether it was at the old apartment in Queens where our grandparents lived. Or making trips to each others houses on Holidays and family events. Andy was always there....to remind Ed that he was older and bigger. Andy always tried to be the bigger brother to all his younger cousins. Despite all the punches and teasing endured by Ed. The irony of it all was that Ed had always wanted a brother. He found that in Andy.

Kristen

Bridesmaid

Kristen and Shannon met on the first day of lacrosse try outs in 2010. They partnered up for a drill and became partners in crime shortly after. After one of the first few days of lacrosse Kristen and Shannon had a girls night, and were totally bonded by the end of tryouts. They were almost attached at the hip in high school the following years, known to cause trouble together, they were fast friends. Shannon would help Kristen sneak out by clipping fake hair to her pillow. The two together were trouble but a blast. Fast forward to the present, these two live many miles apart but keep up with each other almost daily. Today Kristen lives in Denver and focuses her time and energy on a clothing line she creates from start to finish.

Steve

Groomsman

Steve and Ed met in 1991, when they attended Elementary school together. The two friends instantly shared many common interests. From drawing World War II aircraft to movies like Full Metal Jacket and Platoon. These events defined their young developing minds. As well as their use of the English language. The two skateboarded together, lit firecrackers and got into enough trouble to last multiple lifetimes. There are many stories to tell of the two, but they can be deciphered in this quote by Hunter S. Thompson: “But our trip was different. It was a classic affirmation of everything right and true and decent in the national character. It was a gross, physical salute to the fantastic possibilities of life in this country-but only for those with true grit. And we were chock full of that.”

Adrianna

Bridesmaid

Adrianna has been a family friend now for 12 years. Adrianna was an intern at Chanel so she has been Shannon’s go to fashion advisor. For twelve years now Adrianna has been like a second big sister to Shannon, always having her back through thick and thin. Her ability to stay fit and fabulous after two kids is Shannon’s future mama Inspo.

Dave

Groomsman

Ed and Dave became friends way back in the 80s and then broke into the 90s with matching bowl haircuts. In the 90s, they remained close friends as their circle of friends grew. Ed and Dave spent a ton of time together in the 90s and 2000s playing in school sports together, hanging out/loitering, and in school/summer school. Not on the fridays though... Ed's fridays have always belonged to church and his mysterious church friends. (All of whom will not be at the wedding).

Miyoung

Bridesmaid

Miyoung is Ed’s younger sister and Shannon’s future sister in-law. Miyoung grew up as a tomboy, much to her brother’s influence— digging up salamanders, playing wall ball, and biking with him and his friends. She wishes the bride and groom just as much fun in their future path together.

Rob

Groomsman

Many years ago, in the early 90s on River Vale soil, two young boys became friends, named Ed and Rob. The two lived on opposite sides of town but shared many of the same friends and also shared many adventures. Rob and Ed became close friends while in middle school. Whether it was playing “Twisted Metal” on PlayStation after school or riding bikes and hanging out during the summers. The two were always together in addition to the same mutual friends. Over the years Rob has admired Ed for his ever growing life path. Whether going to Afghanistan or to Iraq, Rob is extremely proud of his friend. The two remain friends to this day. There is no doubt they will remain in each others futures. Especially to celebrate Ed and Shannon’s big day. Needless to say, Rob is excited for the both of them!

Celeste

Bridesmaid

Celeste was Shannon’s first army wife friend. A die hard SeaHawks fan from Seattle that knows her football. Shannon and Celeste bonded on the Fourth of July at crab island sipping on something cold and enjoying a good party. They were the only two that could emerge from dirty swamp water at the Ranger Annual Swamp Walk and make it look cute like the simple life . Countless nights of her flashing the U ( Miami college football of course) and trash talking anyone that questioned her taste in football. This is what made Shannon feel at home with that New York I don’t care attitude she had in her.

Vinny

Groomsman

Vinny and Ed first met in 8th grade at Holdrum Middle School in Rivervale NJ, where Vinny was the new kid in town. Throughout middle school and high school they shared the same bus route, classes and friends. The mixing of Hillsdale and Rivervale kids into one high school formed bonds they shared together as a group. From playing stick ball in Nick Ferraro’s culdasac, to wild vacations in Florida, short trips down to the shore and boring summer nights looking to pass the time. This group of friends shared boredom and excitement together. As they have gotten older they have remained close friends despite being at times, half a world apart.

Amy

Bridesmaid

Shannon and Amy met on a cold St Patrick’s Day in their matching red plaid mini skirts. It was Shannon’s first promo and they instantly became friends, along with some drunk elderly at Loughrans Pub. From then on Shannon has basically been Amy’s love guru. Always giving the best (and the craziest) advice about love and life in general. Amy has admired Shannons passion and ability to care deeply for the people who surround her. And even though their friendship in Ny was short and fast, they’ve stayed close despite the distance!

Nick

Groomsman

When doing a flashback of the relationship between Nick and Ed, things tend to get a bit blurry! Some might be thinking about the obvious choice of why this might be (ah-hem) but these guys have been through it all when it comes down to life experiences and they have been there for each other the whole time. From the beginning when they used to hang out at Fraaaanks house, to the time they decided it was a great idea to drink mimosas and screw drivers on the front lawn while shooting fireworks off to the more somber times of drawing works of art on each others faces. It's been probably around 22 years in this world together, couldn't have asked for a better friend or brother from another mother. Congrats Shannon and Ed!

Larry

Groomsman

Larry and Ed met back in 1998, freshman year of high school. It all started when Larry was talking badly behind one of Ed's friends back. One day after school, Ed confronted Larry at “the corner”, and told him to stop. Ever since then they’ve been friends. In the past 20 years, Ed has punched Larry in the face 8 times, 5 of which were deserved. Ed to this day denies any involvement or knowledge of physical violence enacted towards Larry.

Jay

Groomsman

I had the pleasure of meeting Ed at work. The organization we were a part of at that time was a tight nit community filled with senior professionals that are subject matter experts in own right. What made a immediate impact on me was Ed’s level of professionalism and calm demeanor under pressure. That said our bond as Ranger buddies only grew tighter from there. Outside of me beating Ed at everything all the time to include but not limited to catching the most and biggest fish all the time. We like to spend our drunkin nights jogging home from the beach bar’s in flip flops and filling out police qustionares (ie…Witness statements).
