Things To Do

We have lived and worked in Downtown Cincinnati for many years, so here are a few places we love in each of the regions!

Central Business District

Cincinnati, OH 45202

The business area of downtown and the location of the wedding. Brunch: Crown Republic - Where we celebrated our engagement with family & friends. Our favorite brunch spot in the city. First Watch - A solid backup option in the event Crown Republic is full. Sleepy Bee Cafe - Healthier brunch option serving great farm-to-table food. Lunch/Dinner: - Lalo Chino Latino Kitchen - Serves up a menu of Mexican/Asian fusion; one of our favorite food spots downtown. - Arnold's Bar and Grill - Great food and drinks and tons of history dating back to 1861. - Nicholson's Tavern and Pub- The food inside the venue! Great selection of scotches & whiskeys paired with Scottish fare. - Mid City Restaurant - Casual Dining spot serving up a delicious spread of small plates. Drinks: - Igby's - Close to the venue and just a solid bar all around. - Knockback Nat's - Dive bar featuring incredibly good wings. - Tokyo Kitty - Our karaoke bar of choice. - Voodoo Brewing - New brewery in town!

Over-The-Rhine

Cincinnati, OH

Food: - Pepp and Dolores - One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Everything on the menu is divine. - Lucius Q - Our favorite BBQ in the city. - The Eagle - Amazing spot for fried chicken and other southern fare. Drinks: - Pins Mechanical Co. - Come here to play some duckpin bowling and arcade games! - Wise Guys Lounge - Swanky lounge serving up hundreds of different spirits. The pizza place downstairs, Goodfellas, serves pizza until midnight. - Brewdog - Great location for beers in OTR. - 1215 Wine Bar and Coffee Lab - Best pourover coffee in the city by day; cool wine bar by night. Best cocktail bars: -Sundry and Vice - Apothecary themed bar brewing up an elaborate selection of cocktails. -Ghost Baby - A speakeasy-style bar built into one of the city's old train tunnels. -Bar Saeso - A cute, cozy bar with great cocktails to boot.

The Banks

145 East 2nd Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202

Where our engagement photos were taken! Tons of bars and restaurants in this area, as well as some pretty views of the river, bridges, and stadiums. Food: - Nation - Great burger joint on the Banks. - Taste of Belgium - Brunch spot specializing in waffles, but have all sorts of breakfast offerings. - Condado - Solid place to get some tacos and margs. Drinks: - Moerlein Lager House - A brewery down by the river. - Holy Grail - Sports bar usually bustling during Reds/Bengals games, but very open during the offseason. - Tin Roof - Another sports bar that often features live music.
