We met through recovery 7 years prior. We were on the roast round up committees and shared the same home group. It wasn’t until October 2021 when the Bauer’s invited us to join them for some miniature golf. Dave literally fell for me to his embarrassment and I automatically knew he was the one I could spend an eternity with. Exchange of numbers happened. We went on our first date 11.13.2021 at lake pleasant for a day of fishing. Afterwards Dave took me to lunch after fishing down at the Lake Pleasant Marina where we shared our first kiss. We became inseparable immediately. I knew that day he was my person. To fast forward to the day of engagement. It was apparent to everyone we knew including my sons he was going to propose but me. He planned it so well on Thanksgiving day 2023 where family and friends could be present and I wouldn’t figure it out. He was so good at this and I was more than surprised among family and friends he got down on one knee professing his love for me and asked me to marry him. I immediately said yes!
