Mount Falcon Park

Mt. Falcon is close to Denver and has hiking trails overlooking Red Rocks Amphitheatre and views of downtown Denver.

Grab a coffee, drive across the street, and go for a walk around the lake.

River North Art District

RiNo is the arts district home to some of our favorite breweries, restaurants, and street art. Favorite restaurants include The Greenwich, Hop Alley, Park Burger, Milk Market, or Denver Central Market. Favorite breweries include O'Dell, Our Mutual Friend, and Great Divide.

Staunton State Park

Beautiful state park showcasing the beauty of Colorado's mountain meadows.

Hops & Pie/Berkeley Donuts

One of our favorite donut shops by morning and one of our favorite pizza shops and beer menus by night. The Detroit style pizza is magnificent. Located on Tennyson street — a cute shopping and restaurant district.

Museum of Contemporary Art Denver

Our favorite art museum in town. You can walk through it in about an hour, then check out the view on the rooftop patio & bar.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Check the calendar to see if you can catch a concert or movie while you're in town. Or on the weekends in the morning, the amphitheater is typically open to the public, and full of people doing workouts like running the bleachers or stairs, doing yoga, making up circuit workouts, or hiking the trails around the amphiteatre.

Our favorite ice cream stop in Denver. Multiple locations around town so look for one close to you.

Bad Axe Throwing

The Manitou Incline

These abandoned railroad tracks have become a local fitness challenge not for the faint of heart — literally. Come to altitude and then hike up a mountain "the short way" — straight up. If you're muscles are sore before you get to the top, then you're doing it right.

Roxborough State Park

Unique formations of red rocks and a big green meadow. No dogs allowed in this park, but dogs are allowed at Mt. Falcon and Staunton.

Downtown Littleton

Downtown Littleton has a ton of cute restaurants and shops.

Coors Field

The Mets are playing the Rockies in Denver on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon.
