Or on the weekends in the morning, the amphitheater is typically open to the public, and full of people doing workouts like running the bleachers or stairs, doing yoga, making up circuit workouts, or hiking the trails around the amphiteatre.

These abandoned railroad tracks have become a local fitness challenge not for the faint of heart — literally. Come to altitude and then hike up a mountain "the short way" — straight up. If you're muscles are sore before you get to the top, then you're doing it right.
Unique formations of red rocks and a big green meadow. No dogs allowed in this park, but dogs are allowed at Mt. Falcon and Staunton.
