Shannon and Clifton’s journey began in November 2022 at the Black Food Truck Festival after-party. Clifton attended the event on a whim and was not initially familiar with Shannon’s music. However, as soon as she took the stage, he was thoroughly impressed and quickly became an admirer. After the performance, Shannon, feeling a bit tired, went in search of a chair, assuming Clifton had already left. Unbeknownst to her, Clifton had simply stepped away and was looking for her afterward. Unable to find her, he reached out through the artist she was performing for, and that sparked the beginning of their connection. From that moment forward, their bond continued to grow stronger.
