Shan & Chris will be staying at Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes. There are many hotels along the beach here - we recommend staying in this area to be close to where the married couple is!
We recommend flying into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. You can also fly into Marseille Provence Airport; however, please beware that Marseille is like flying into Oakland and you will not want spend much (if any) time there. Once you arrive in Nice, getting to Saint-Tropez, you can take the train from either airport train station to station St Raphael Valescure. From here, you will need to either taxi (fairly pricy - about 75 minutes) or take the public ferry to Saint-Tropez (27€ per adult). May & June Ferry Times (only Tuesdays and Saturdays): Departure from Saint Raphaël: 9:30 am or 2:30 pm Return from Saint Tropez : 10:30 am or 3:30 pm Alternately, you can rent a car and drive to Saint-Tropez - the drive is easy to navigate. OR you can schedule a private driver to take you to Saint-Tropez to avoid the rental car hassle - this is our recommended suggestion as you will not need a car in Saint-Tropez and this way you will avoid toll and parking expenses. Depending on peoples schedules, Chris & Shan may organize transportation. Please reach out if you are interested.
If you are driving, yes! Bring at least 20 euros in small change to use for the toll roads there and back to the Nice Airport.
Wear your best of the best! Saint-Tropez is known for an effortless elegance that combines designer sophistication with a relaxed, beach-ready vibe. This unique aesthetic favors luxurious yet breathable fabrics, reflecting both the Mediterranean climate and the town’s penchant for understated glamour.
