Question

Important Reminder

Answer

Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate! Elevation affects the best of us. A simple lack of hydration can cause a miserable headache. There is a reason this is #1 on the list: Please start hydrating a week before you arrive! It will greatly increase your chances of having the best time and sharing a few drinks with us while you're here without regretting all your decisions the next morning.

Question

What sort of weather should we prepare for?

Answer

We recommend keeping an eye on the weather a few days before you travel. On average, temps are around 60° during the day; however, it's also common that we get snow on Halloween. It could be snowing! It could be 70°! It's part of the fun of Colorado.

Question

Is there transportation from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

There is not direct transportation from the airport to the block hotels. If you'd like to take public transportation from the airport, the A Line (westbound) will take you from the airport to Union Station in downtown Denver, and a transfer onto the W Line (westbound) will get you to Golden. "Red Rocks Community College Station" and "Jefferson County Government Center - Golden Station" will be the best options for proximity to the hotel(s) or wedding venue. If you plan to explore Denver and/or the foothills or mountains, we would recommend a rental car for the weekend.

Question

Do you have a block of hotel rooms reserved?

Answer

We have a block at SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden. Find more information about the block and making reservations on the "Travel" page.

Question

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue? And back at the end of the night?

Answer

A bus will arrive at the block hotel (SpringHill Suites Denver West/Golden) at 3 p.m. and depart at 3:15 to transport guests to the wedding venue. It will also be making return trips at the end of the night.
