Things To Do

There are so many places to explore in CO. Here’s a list of our favorites!

Rocky Mountain National Park

CO

Take the scenic drive up Trail Ridge Road to the Alpine Visitors Center! Emerald Lake is a great hike in the Bears Lake Area. Timed entry passes are needed to get into the main entrance and Bears Lake area. You can purchase those on recreation.gov

Boulder

Boulder, CO

Walk around Pearl Street, go to Avanti for a rooftop bar/ eatery experience, Savannah Bee Company for honey and mead tastings, Illegal Pete’s for a quick bite, and Chautauqua Park for a great view of the Flatirons.

Nederland

Nederland, CO 80466

Let us know if you need hike recommendations. We enjoy Lost Lake via Hessie Trail (moderate hike). Crosscut Pizza is delicious!

St. Mary's Glacier

CO 80452

A short but semi challenging hike. You can go for an alpine plunge, cliff jump, and watch people ski down the glacier!

Breckenridge

Breckenridge, CO 80424

Walk around the mountain town, check out the brewery and take the free gondola up the mountain.

Idaho Springs

Idaho Springs, CO

A cute town near our wedding venue. We love Westbound and Down Brewing CO. Plenty of spots to eat outside and shop.

Brainard Lake Recreation Area

Brainard Lake Road, Ward, CO 80481

Have a picnic at Brainard lake or hike to Lake Isabelle. It’s a moderate hike to a beautiful alpine lake with mountain views. You’ll need a parking reservation from recreation.gov.
