We met at Folsom Lake Community College in chemistry class. We were in the same study group and remained friends over the years, until our 'chemistry' changed in 2015. Shannon came back to Folsom during winter break and we met up for a drink with the intention to catch up, but we totally hit it off!

In lieu of giving each other gifts, it is our tradition to take a vacation around Christmas. We try to visit new locations every year and in 2020, we decided to go to Eureka, CA. We both had never seen the giant California redwoods and that beautiful section of the Northern CA coastline. A few days into our vacation, Asher popped the question at the beach. Shannon was certainly surprised!
