Our love story began in August of 2018, when Drew sent me a message on Plenty of Fish. Initially I was hesitant to respond due to my previous negative experiences. However, I thought he was handsome so I decided to respond to the message. We began messaging back and forth which eventually lead to exchanging phone numbers. That evening Drew called and we spoke on the phone for two hours. Everyday after our initial conversation we spoke on the phone for hours, until Drew asked me to go bowling. The first date brought out my competitive side which intrigued Drew. However, all that trash talk went out the window when Drew's first roll was a strike! Until this day Drew still enjoys reminding me who won on our first date ( he took a picture of the score). Later that evening we decided to grab dinner and continue to enjoy each others company. We discussed what we both wanted out of life and our plans for the future. During this conversation, while telling Drew about my goal s and aspiration, he expressed his intentions to help me reach them. As we continued to date, Drew made it more and more clear that his intention was to be with the right person, and we began exclusively dating a month after meeting. Drew describes our relationship as reciprocal. Intentionally partners to one another , we're equally fun loving, supportive , goal oriented and family focused. I describe our relationship as genuine. Without question, I know our paths were meant to cross. We encourage each other to be our absolute self without fear or judgement, yet we love each other enough to give our best. On August 3 2019, Drew suggested we have a date night at a restaurant near the East 9th Pier . Early for our reservation, we decided to walk along the pier and watch the dinner cruise ships take off. After the last ship sailed away, Drew caught me off guard as he began to get down on one knee and propose to me.
