Groom
Otherwise know as Yemi
Mother of the Bride
Helen, my beautiful mum, but to family as Elly. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without her. If I’m even half the woman she is, I will be so proud. She is truly one of the kindest souls, and to know her is to love her.
Father of the Bride
This is Shannon’s dad, Pete. She’s incredibly grateful for everything he’s done for her throughout her life and feels very lucky that he’s giving her away down the aisle. Although I’m pretty sure he’s secretly relieved that she will no longer be his responsibility!
Mother of the Groom
The Mother of the Groom holds a special place in my heart. Your love, guidance, unwavering support, and countless sacrifices have helped shape the man I am today. Thank you for standing by me as we begin this new chapter together. We are deeply grateful to celebrate this special day with you and are honoured to have you by our side.
Father of the Groom
My Dad has been a source of strength, wisdom, and steadfast support throughout my life. Your prayers, encouragement, and belief in me have helped shape the man I have become today. Thank you for your love, your sacrifices, and for standing with us as we begin this new chapter.
Flower Girl
Penelope, who will be 5 years old, holds an incredibly special place in both mine and Yemi’s hearts. This little princess is adored by Auntie Shannon and Uncle Yemi, and we couldn’t imagine our special day without her by our side.
Page Boy
Austin will be 2.5 years old, and we couldn’t imagine anyone else taking on the role of our Page Boy. Auntie Shannon and Uncle Yemi are beyond grateful to have such a sweet boy with an even sweeter smile be part of our special day. Even if he doesn’t make it down the aisle, he will always have the title he deserves.
Maid of Honor
Lauren has been my sister since we were 7 years old. From adventures in Majorca and Florida to concerts (One Direction, anyone?) and endless memories, we’ve been through it all together. I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by my side on this special day. She’s not just my best friend—she’s family. I’m beyond lucky to have her as my Maid of Honour.
Bridesmaid
Who would’ve thought that someone I met at work all those years ago would become one of my best friends? From car sharing to making the best memories together, Kiera has been there for me through it all. Even though she now lives all the way in Australia, I know she’ll always be there for me, no matter the distance. It makes it even more special that she’ll be here as my bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Yasmin will always be my not-so-little cousin. She’s been my best friend since the moment she was born. From countless holidays together to making memories that’ll last a lifetime, she’s been there through it all. I honestly couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without her by my side.
Bridesmaid
I’ve known Katie forever, and honestly, I don’t even remember when we became friends it feels like a lifetime. Katie is the kind of friend everyone wishes they had, and I’m so lucky to have her in my life. I can’t wait to have her by my side as my bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
I’ve known Jess since we were 3 years old, and she’s truly the dancing queen! She’s been one of the biggest constants in my life and is the best friend a girl could ever ask for. I couldn’t imagine walking down the aisle without her by my side.
Groomsman
We met Kyler through Kiera, and he instantly became part of the family. Kyler has promised to show off his Nigerian dance moves if he’s in the wedding party, so watch this space
