We're getting married!

It all started with a swipe—and a match. A few flirty “how are you?” and “what’s your favorite food?” messages led us to our first date just days later. Picture an excruciatingly hot July afternoon at Rocks State Park: two strangers bonding over the shared misery—and unmistakable stench—of sweating in the sun for hours. Somehow, even then, something clicked. After showers—and much better planning involving air conditioning—we spent the summer of 2021 discovering what love could look like for us. Now, almost five years later, we’ve been lucky enough to turn a house into a home with our two little fur babies—one filled with loud laughter, chasing each other around the living room, and constantly plotting our next devious scare. Through it all, our love has remained patient, steady, and forgiving—growing stronger in the quiet moments, the silly ones, and everything in between. And if it all started with a simple swipe, it’s amazing to see just how much of a life we’ve built together since.
