As you are turning into the Black Canyon Inn, the Homestead venue will be on your left. Follow the path around the right of the lodge to the pavilion area.
The venue is only a 5 min drive from the downtown area!
No, there are plenty of hotels and accommodations in the area! If you do stay at the venue, make sure to use the online discount code of WED at checkout.
The temperature can range from 20s to 40s this time of year in Estes. It's unlikely to have heavy snowfall by this time; however, I would prepare for snow to be on the ground.
While the wedding will be outside under a covered pavilion, the reception will all be in a heated lodge.
Dress however you’re most comfortable whether that’s fancy evening wear or jeans (we’re just happy to have you). We do recommend wearing something to keep you warm for the ceremony on the pavilion.
As much as we love our fur-babies, the venue does not allow for any dogs or pets to be on the property unless they are service animals.
Yes! Just be sure to include them when you are RSVP-ing for the event so that we can account for them in the final headcount.

No. Since we kept the wedding pretty small, it didn’t make sense to have one. Basically all the same people would have been invited to a rehearsal dinner. Instead we are going to do the Chase Glow 4mile run event that’s happening in downtown Estes Friday night. Everyone is welcome to register and join us (or just meet up with us after).
Yes! We are just that kind of crazy! The chase the glow run should be a fun time. There is a 4 mile run or 1 mile walk option. And you can always just meet us when we finish up around 7pm rather than do the event.
