We met how all great love stories always begin, on Tinder. Taylor couldn't resist my fierce bio, independant personality and sassy pics, and knew once he got the match notification, that this was going to be destiny. I couldn't resist his dog, love for Taco Bell, midwestern manners, and his ability to watch Lifetime Christmas movies as many times as I begged. Fast forward to us meeting three weeks later, one very classy evening later, and the rest is history. Conventional? No. But just the way we like it.
On a very hot fall day, Taylor planned a fall harvest date to the local pumpkin patch as he knew that I loved all things festive. We conquered the fake corn maze, saw the cutest little pig in the history of little pigs, and bonded over our mutual love for Lemonade Shakeups. Finally I couldn't take the awkwardness any longer and next to a beautiful sunflower patch, told him "You just need to do this!" It was with this romantic declaration that Taylor got down on one shaky knee, professed some beautiful words that neither of us can remember, and put a ring on it. Since he is a very smart man, he had their friends hiding in the sunflowers taking pictures of the scene and was prepared with roses. The best day is an understatement and we can't wait for what our wedding day has in store. Let the party roll on.
