Wander thru Downtown
Tons of shops, restaurants, parks, and entertainers on weekends. Check out the local Asheville City Farmer's Market, from 9 am to noon on Saturdays!
River Arts District
Artist studios, breweries, and graffiti - what more could you ask for? Our favorite brewery over that way is Wedge Brewery at Foundation. It's right by two recommended galleries - Marquee & Riverview Station.
Brewery Hop
Coming in at second in the nation in terms of breweries per capita (!!), there is no shortage of good beer to be had. Some of our favorite stops include Wicked Weed, Burial Beer Co, Hi-Wire, and Wedge Brewery. New Belgium & Sierra Nevada both have flagship locations a bit further out as well.
Get Out on the River
No better way to spend a day than on the water! Zen Tubing is a great company to use for a river float, or check out French Broad Outfitters for a wider array of adventure gear, including tubes, SUPs, and kayaks.
Asheville Pinball Museum
Grab a drink and try your luck on the 30+ classic pinball machines.
The Biltmore
Explore the grounds & museum of the famous Biltmore Estate.
Pisgah National Forest
There are a ton of great sites & hikes in the Pisgah National Forest - including short hikes to Looking Glass Falls & Moore Cove Falls, summiting Mt. Pisgah, or trying out the Sliding Rock, a natural waterslide! Black Balsam Knob, Mount Mitchell, and Catawba Falls are other great hikes in the area!
