We met at a party that our friends Erin and Eric were having and there was an instant connection as we talked and sang along (very poorly) to the music. At the time Brandon was sailing with Military Sealift Command and Shannen was working as an Assistant Port Engineer so we were both traveling a lot for work. Despite the distance we talked almost everyday and the relationship grew even further. Our shared love of travel, friends and family brought us closer together. When work finally slowed down and brought us back to Norfolk, we were able to continue growing the relationship, attending our friend Andrew’s Oyster Roasts, hanging with the crew of the PEARY, and weekend trips around the country. This includes visits to Texas, Florida, adventures in Montana, a cabin outside Seattle to ski and snowboard as well as trips to the Low Country just to name a few. We enjoyed exploring Scotland, dancing the night away at a silent disco in the Dominican Republic and look forward to many more adventures together. The last 4 years have been absolutely wonderful and we look forward to what the future may bring.
