The Boise greenbelt is great for a walk or bike ride to explore town. Also a great place to stay if staying in Boise during your time. Green Acres Boise (outdoor area off greenbelt with food trucks & live music) Payette Brewery Yardarm (taco food truck and drinks)

Boise has a large Basque community and this is one of our favorite spots for tapas/pintxos!
If spending the day in Boise at all, during the summer months it is super fun to rent gear and float the Boise river.

The North End is awesome for hiking, biking, shopping and eating. Check out Certified Kitchen and bakery and the local shops downtown. Some other great hiking spots close to downtown Boise are, Military Reserve, Table Rock and Oregon trail.

If you are planning on staying a longer period of time some favorable destinations within a couple hours of Boise are Stanley, Cascade, McCall and Sun Valley.
