The chuppah will take place at the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center. Please enter Atlanta History Center into your GPS or rideshare app. Upon arrival, you will be directed to walk to the Swan House. The walk from the Atlanta History Center to the Swan House is approximately three to five minutes on a paved path. Parts of the ceremony and surrounding areas are on grass, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes or block heels rather than stilettos.
Our ceremony begins at 6:00 PM, but we warmly invite you to join us at 5:00 PM for the beautiful traditions that take place beforehand. Tish (men): The groom will gather with family and friends for songs, words of Torah, and joyful celebration. Kabbalat Panim (women): At the same time, the bride will be warmly welcomed with music, blessings, and smiles. Bedeken (everyone): The two sides then come together as the groom veils the bride — a powerful and emotional moment. Ceremony (everyone): Immediately after the bedeken, we move into the wedding ceremony at 6:00 PM.
Black tie in black — guests are kindly asked to wear all black formal attire. Men may wear black tuxedos with white shirts, and women are encouraged to wear black floor length gowns. The walk from the Atlanta History Center to the Swan House is short, approximately three to five minutes on a paved path. Parts of the ceremony and surrounding areas are on grass, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes or block heels rather than stilettos. Please feel free to bring a comfortable pair of shoes for dancing.
Weather permitting, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. Since the spaces include grass, we recommend choosing shoes that are comfortable for walking on lawns.
Shuttles will be available between the hotel and venue. Details will be shared closer to the wedding date. There is on-site parking available, and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are easily accessible.
There will be a complimentary parking deck at the Atlanta History Center available as well as an optional valet service for your convenience.
