As Shannan would say.. “She took my job.” Yes, somewhat true. But it could also be said that if Ashley didn't take the position she wanted then they would have never met. It started with a simple hand shake on January 4th, 2017. Both were extremely shy (surprisingly). There was an instant connection. With help from their coworker, they went out on our first date to Plank in Oakland and have been inseparable ever since. These two secretly dated 9 months while working at the same program. It was decided that they no longer wanted to keep their love a secret, and so Shannan decided to leave the program and work some where else within the agency. However, they still both got a write up when they came clean. They didn't care, it was all worth it!! Shannan was born in Rhode Island and moved to the Bay Area in 2014. She spent much of her adult life a resident of Massachusetts and this is where she had her first son Jaiden. Ashley was born and raised in Hayward, California. She is a true Bay Area native. Anywhere there is music, you can find these two on the dance floor. Literally, ANYWHERE.
