Justin and Katie have known each other since the Mountainside Middle School days. Justin and Katie briefly "dated" which ended with Justin breaking up with her over text. They ran in different social circles in high school even though Justin alludes to him always "pining" for Katie in the hallway. Fast forward to 2021, after both Katie and Justin had returned to the Valley after college. Justin was out with his brother Parker at SandBar in Desert Ridge and Katie walks in with some of her friends. They instantly hit it off but Katie unfortunately had one too many and gave him the wrong number. COMPLETELY not on purpose and Justin still gives her a hard time to this day. Then they eventually connected and went out a few times before once again going their separate ways. Their paths crossed again in November of 2022 when the South Carolina Gamecocks were beating the Tennessee Volunteers. Justin had a parlay which included Tennessee beating South Carolina and as we all know, he lost that bet. However, he did find the courage to reach out to Katie once again and the rest is now history. They always say that the third times a charm, Katie and Justin prove that to be true!
