We’re getting married!

Here we go! Matt and I dated back in High School, 9 years ago! We went our seperate ways and reconnected a little over 2 years ago when he was home for Christmas. They say “what’s meant to be will always find its way, always.” Never in a millon years did either of us think we would end up being each others missing piece. As most know, Matt was in the Marine Corps, so after having him home for Christmas and reconnecting he had to return back to California. We talked everyday, all day and FaceTimed almost every night usually. We made it to February and then he was able to come back home due to his grandpa passing, so he was here for Valentines Day and my birthday! He then left again to go back, and that March I was able to head out to California over Spring Break and be out there for 13 days. We were only able to spend the weekends together but better than nothing, right?! So now here comes the long stretch of not seeing each other in person. We didn’t see each other in person until June, but man when that day came it was the best feeling to be able to hug him and know he was home for good this time! June 22nd he popped the question and I said YES! Now here we are 6 months away from saying “I DO”, and the 2 year wait is finally over!
