Paebaek Ceremony
The Paebaek ceremony is an intimate Korean unification tradition for the new couple to pay their respects to both sides of the family and receive blessings for their new union. All guests are welcome to the ceremony and is meant to be fun and interactive!
Some elements you will see during paebaek include the exchanging of bows, rice wine ceremony, and throwing of chestnuts/dates to represent the number of children the couple will have!
