There are so many lakes nearby- Lake Sawyer, Lake Meridian, Lake Wilderness, Lake Sammamish, Lake Washington, just to name a few. Swim, fish, paddleboard, boat- Washington lakes are perfff in August!

1.5 hrs from Auburn, Washington, Mt Rainier is Washington State's prized GEM. Even if you're not a hiker, this National Park offers pure beauty. 10000% worth the drive; camp here a couple of nights if you can!
