In 2021, during Shaniyah’s freshman year at The University of Mississippi, our paths crossed in a way that felt both effortless and intentional. The first time we met in person, we spent hours sitting in the car — talking about life, dreams, and everything in between. Time seemed to stand still as conversation flowed naturally, and in that moment, a genuine connection was formed. Drawn to each other’s energy and comforted by the ease of simply being together, those conversations became a rhythm. What began as long talks soon grew into a lasting bond — rooted in friendship, strengthened by consistency, and guided by God’s hand. Years later, that same love has led us here — engaged and preparing for forever. With grateful hearts, we step into this next chapter trusting God to lead our marriage with grace, joy, and enduring love.
