We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met for the first time in the library of Mt. Sterling Elementary school. Not as students, but I (Shaniqua) was being interviewed by a panel (including Collis) in hopes of snagging my first teaching job. Now, I had heard of Collis Robinson before, but I had never met him. Our first time talking was him asking me something like "how would a reading lesson look in your classroom?". Needless to say, I knocked the interview out of the park, secured Collis's old job, and was the new sheriff in town (out with the old and in with the new, right)! Fast forward two years--both of us were experiencing heartache and loss through the hell that is divorce. On a trip to Nashville with my cousins, they gave me the courage to slide in the DMs of Mr. Robinson. He replied back immediately and we haven't stopped talking since. After a couple of new jobs, a new house, two boys, countless adventures, and a dog, we are finally tying the knot! This was the easiest yes that I've ever said!
