A Love Written in Time

What began as young hearts finding each other during high school blossomed into a love that has stood the test of time. Shan and Leon’s story is one of growth, resilience, and unwavering devotion—a journey curated over decades, built on friendship, passion, and the kind of love that deepens with every season. From the early days of stolen glances and late-night conversations, their connection was undeniable. As they grew from high school sweethearts into partners navigating life’s many stages, their bond only strengthened. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, dreams, and a love that laid the foundation for the beautiful family they’re raising. Their greatest blessings came in the form of their children—watching them grow has been one of our proudest achievements. Through every challenge and triumph, they stood side by side, proving that love isn’t just found in grand gestures, but in the quiet, everyday moments—the shared meals, the whispered dreams, the silent prayers and the shouts of gratitude to the Lord for persevering, and the unwavering support that carried us through. Now, after years of love and life, Shan and Leon are ready to say “I do”—not as the beginning, but as the continuation of a story still being written. This celebration is not just about the years behind them, but the countless memories still to come—more adventures, more laughter, and a lifetime of love waiting ahead. With hearts full of gratitude, they invite you to witness this next chapter—a testament to a love that only grows sweeter with time. Shan & Leon – Forever, Always, and Still in Love.

Leon & Shan: A Love Etched in Time

No Ordinary Love

Leon and Shan met in high school, two souls drawn to each other in a way neither could explain. It started with exchange of numbers, then a quick call and then a please call me. Lol, we used to hand write love notes to each other folded neatly and read it on our Saturday dates. Our love grew between the lines of those messages—hidden, encrypted in ways only we could understand. Late at night, when the world quieted, our conversations stretched for hours. Shan would lie in bed, phone pressed to her ear, listening to Leon’s voice like a melody she never wanted to end. They spoke of dreams, whispered about the future, and sometimes just sat in silence, knowing even the unspoken words were understood. On days they couldn’t talk, Leon would leave voicemails—(Jah Cure- Woman I love you) and sometimes with words of love, other times just a song that reminded him of her (Sizzla- Give me a try) And each time Shan listened, she smiled, because she knew—this was the kind of love people wrote about. Their love was woven into the simple things—walks on the beach, where the waves hummed their own love song, and sharing meals that tasted sweeter because they were together. Saturdays were sacred, their routine unspoken—hand in hand, they explored Montego Bay, laughing over street food, dancing to reggae beats floating through the air, and watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky with their love story. Shan even attempted to sing the best she ever could (Cater 2 U- Destiny’s child) Leon was the sweetest he listened with appreciation and heart full of love. He replied aww I love you and I’m so lucky to have a love like yours but my baby can’t sing for Shit! lol Years passed, and they built a life together, one brick of love at a time. Their first apartment was small, but it was home. It was where they learned that love wasn’t just in grand gestures—it was in cooking together, in falling asleep on the couch mid-conversation, in handwritten notes left on the fridge that simply said, I love you. Through every challenge, they prayed. Sometimes in silence, sometimes together. Their love was covered in faith, in whispered hopes, in promises made to God and to each other. And then came Paris. Leon had always promised her magic, and as they stood beneath the Eiffel Tower, he made good on his word. The city lights bathed them in gold, and as Shan turned to him, she saw the boy she had loved since high school—but also the man who had loved her through every season of life. Leon took her hands, his fingers trembling slightly as he held onto her like he always had. “Shan,” he said, voice thick with emotion, “from the first note we passed to the last voicemail I left, you have been my forever. I’ve prayed for this moment, for us. Will you marry me?” Tears slipped down Shan’s cheeks as she whispered the only answer she had ever known. “Yes.” Now, more than twenty years later, their love is still written in quiet moments. In the way their hands instinctively find each other. In the love notes Leon still leaves for her. In the songs Shan still saves for him. In the prayers they still whisper at night. They started with a love story written on scraps of paper, carried through music, strengthened by faith—and now, they’ve built a home. A love that hasn’t just lasted, but one that still grows, still deepens, still feels like the very first I love you.
