FAQs

Question

Will children be allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding be adults only. For those of you planning to bring your families for your trip to Oregon, we are working to figure out babysitting options during the wedding and ceremony, although we cannot guarantee it at this time. Other events during the week leading up to the wedding day will be kid friendly.

Question

What day should I arrive?

Answer

There will be informal events (details TBD) on Thursday during the day for those who want to arrive a few days early. Friday will be an open day for folks to explore the area but we will be hosting Welcome Party/Drinks with the Bride and Groom where you can join us at the park for some drinks; please see details on the schedule page.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Wear something you’re comfortable in—dresses, jumpsuits, , jackets and slacks, a suit (ties requested but not required). Since our ceremony is outside and you never know the weather in Oregon for August, bring something to throw on if it's a bit chilly. The reception is indoor so you won't need it for long.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The PNW can always throw you for a loop so we would suggest checking the weather apps as we get closer to the big day! The average temperature for that time of year is in the 80's.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceramony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15-20 min before the start of the ceremony.

Question

Where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

You should park on site! Parking is all free. There is a lot near the Veiled Gardens and also parking in front of the Ballroom area; to walk from ceremony to reception will take someone 3 minutes so all the parking in convenient.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be serving beer, wine, cocktails and have a selection of non-alcoholic options. During the cocktail hour, there will be heavy appetizers passed before a buffet dinner followed last by some sweet and tasty desserts!
