Folly Beach
The popular beach in Charleston! It’s home to Folly Beach Pier, stretching more than 1,000 feet into the ocean. Center Street is lined with surf and souvenir shops. Folly Beach County Park also has picnic areas and a pelican rookery.
Isle of Palms
This beach is our favorite as it is not as busy! It’s known for its beaches backed by condos and eateries. Sea turtles also nest in the area. The oceanfront Isle of Palms County Park includes a beach, picnic areas and a playground.
Morris Island Lighthouse
This is where we had our engagement photos! The beach is serene and a local hidden gem.
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens
This is where Zach proposed! Needless to say, this place is special and absolutely beautiful! Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is one of the oldest and last large scale romantic gardens left in the United States. Magnolia Plantation is certainly filled with beauty and history. The plantation also has a petting zoo, miniature ponies, nature train tours, and stunning garden paths.
Tapio - A Boba Tea Cafe
A must go to! Best place for a nice refreshing boba tea after a hot day at the beach!
Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar
One of our favorite downtown places to get lunch or dinner. Housed in a 1940s retired naval building right on the coastline, Fleet Landing Restaurant & Bar is Charleston's Best Waterfront Dining with a focus on local and sustainable seafood as well as outstanding desserts.

Patriots Point Fireworks Blast 2019
Patriots Point will be doing fireworks on July 4th. There are tickets you can purchase to view the fireworks from USS Yorktown's flight deck or you could park at a different location and view the fireworks. See the link for more details.
