We met for the first time when I (Shania) walked into the western retail store Quenten was working at one early weekday morning & inquired about getting an application to work there, which then thankfully and by the goodness of God led to me getting hired & us working together. You could say it wasn’t necessarily a love at first meet kind of thing (lol). Needless to say time proved otherwise as we came to be pretty good co-workers & developed an honest friendship. Fast forward to about 8 months later in May, I moved back to Missouri & we were no longer co-workers, but that didn’t stop our friendship from continuing. From late night conversations every Tuesday & Thursday as Quenten would drive home from night classes at college, to unexpected phone calls to just “check-in & see how it’s going” we kept the realness of our friendship alive but weren’t admitting to one another that we did actually like each other. In November I came down to visit a close friend & happened to run into Quenten on accident & we realized after seeing each other again that there was definitely a spark there. Upon my arrival back home & the more time we spent apart we knew we had to be with each other. In February I went down for another visit to see Quenten & it was then that he officially asked me to be his girlfriend & we started our dating relationship. Long distance relationships are not for the faint of heart but we made it work! FaceTime calls, texts & snap chats every day to see & be in each others lives made up our relationship until July when by the grace & orchestrating of God, I was able to move back down to Texas, this time horses were in tow & it was for good. Ever since we started dating in February that year we have made a commitment to always be for each other, & to always work together for the betterment of each other as individuals & us as a team. We support & love one another through all things & are so incredibly excited and thankful to be getting married SOON!! PTL!
While we know every single one of you would love to attend, we completely understand if you are unable to make the trip. We didn’t want you to feel left out or not thought of, and want you to know that even if you’re not present in person, you are celebrating with us in spirit. We will be hosting a separate reception in Missouri sometime after September & Invite you to come celebrate with us then! More details to come.
