UPDATE! 12/1 - Our wish for all of you is to stay happy and healthy. COVID- 19 continues to weigh heavily on society. While a vaccination is being rolled out, safety prevents us from moving forward with our original plans of having a large gathering. We opted for a much smaller post-wedding reception in April with our wedding party and close family. Much Love, Shaney and Cody

We met one evening in the parking lot of an elementary school. There to play the high school game of commando (a large scale version of tag, except those doing the tagging have vehicles and the rest are required to run, from one destination to another, without getting caught), our friends paired us together, giving us plenty of time to get to know each other. From that day on, there was no stopping us. What started as a friendship, has turned into so much more. Over the past 10 years, we have grown into young adults, and our love has only gotten stronger. We push each other to be better and work harder. We are each other’s sounding boards and best friends. Honestly, we don't know where our lives would be without each other. The reality of becoming one in marriage is more exciting than ever. We are ready for the next step in our journey together! Nothing compares to the love we have for each other and how thrilled we are to be sharing our commitment with all of you.
