Yes! As Shanelle is always one to encourage a theme, we invite our guests to join us for a creative black tie affair.
We're glad you asked! Creative black tie is formal meets eccentric, where guests can have fun designing an upscale outfit that exudes their unique, personal style. We envision our wedding to feel like a fancy dress-up party for grown-ups, where you get to wear your most glamorous tuxedo or gown, but with a playful twist – think bold colors, dazzling textures, and unique accessories that let your personality shine through, all while maintaining a classy and sophisticated vibe. It's basically a chance to dress to impress, but with a fun "fashion-forward" flair!
For the ladies, think floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses with bold colors, luxurious fabrics, interesting embellishments, and statement accessories. Big hats, wild jewelry, beaded handbags, and dare I say glitter. The key is to start with formal black tie and elevate your outfit to showcase your creativity! For the gents, creative black tie typically involves a tuxedo or your classiest suit, and we definitely support – if not highly encourage – variations in jacket style and color. Feeling that velvet jacket, those funky patterned pants, chic suede shoes, or a feathered bowtie perhaps? If Shanelle can dream it, she'd love to see you bring it!
We will be sending formal invitations at a later date, which will request you to RSVP no later than March 1, 2026, but we would greatly appreciate an earlier response.
As you are our favorite people, we did our best to individually invite your favorite person! If you think we missed your partner, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
While we adore your little ones, we are planning an adult-only celebration and are limiting young guests to our families.
Yes! The venue offers ample parking, and cars can be left overnight with early morning pickup. However, we recommend carpooling or ride-sharing, especially if you are staying with our hotel block!
Having you celebrate with us is the greatest gift of all! As we are very lucky to already have an established home, should you wish to support us in this next chapter, we respectfully request only cards or monetary gifts toward our honeymoon and newlywed fund (and, as Remy insisted, his treat fund).
