Family and friends. This could not be more true with this couple. They both aspired to be funeral directors and owning their own business. For her it was a childhood passion, for him it would be a tradition. For many years DD attended the state and national NFDMA conventions beginning at an early age participating in NAYE (National Association for Youth Entrepreneurs). Outgrowing NAYE, He became a part of the “40 and under” organization. Shanelle has also attended many conventions at the same time . But for some reason their paths never crossed. Who would know that this would be the beginning of their story and the connection to Their future marriage. As it would happen, Facebook can be credited for starting the conversation. “Hi, my name is Shanelle. I see you are a member of the 40 and under. I’m planning to attend the upcoming conference in Dallas. Are you coming?" And those statements birthed a relationship for love. And how ironic is it that the “dead” also is responsible for bringing his parents together many years ago.. Their other similarities... He loves kids… She has two; he is a Barber.... she is a cosmetologist ; he likes to go “big”... she likes to plan it; one suggests pictures, the other sets the stage; and the list goes on! The story continues to be lived as they establish chapter after chapter... Here’s to the future “Royal Family”.
