Alderbrook Resort & Spa
We highly recommend taking advantage of all the cool amenities the resort has to offer. There is a saltwater pool, hot tub, fitness center, sauna, steam room, spa, and waterfront center. The pool area is open 5 AM-12:00 AM daily (adult swim only 5 AM-9 AM and 9 PM-12PM.) Major. Vibes. Alert. The waterfront center offers paddle kayak, paddle board, floating tubes, pedal boat, hydrobike , and electric boat rentals. Rentals are available by making an appointment by e-mailing waterfront@alderbrookresort.com or calling 360-898-5302.
Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club
The Alderbrook Golf Course is just a couple minute drive across the street and right up the hill from the resort. You may find Shane and his Groomsmen out on the course early the morning of the Big Day!
Hama Hama Oyster Saloon
Hama Hama oysters is an outdoor eatery and farm to table restaurant with incredible vibes and views of the hood canal. This restaurant is a 30 minute drive from the Alderbrook resort and serves much more than shellfish if that’s not your thing (see website for full menu.) The restaurant recommends making online reservations which includes an A-frame shelter that sits 4-6 people comfortably and 2 dozen oysters. You can make an online reservation for our wedding week or weekend by visiting their website. They also accept walk ins.
Union City Market
The Union City Market is right down the road from the Alderbrook Resort and has a cool gift shop and small grocery store as well as a grill out back where you can enjoy fresh grilled seafood right on the Hood Canal.
