It was a Wednesday night. In a bar that no longer exists, in a town that has since turned into a city … two strangers met in real life. They both had been invited to hear the same band play (Lillie Mae & Family). As the music cast a spell upon the room, Sarah and Shane talked into the night. Sarah was on a road trip away from NYC in search of other artist communities. Shane had recently moved from Detroit to Nashville in search of a new music scene. They were new friends, but it felt as if they had known each other for a long time. They spent one week together. Sarah continued her travels to meet her friends Caitlin and Bekah in New Orleans. After that, she could continue west… or immediately move in with Shane and live with him for 8 years!

From the Full Moon Saloon (the bar of their first encounter) to Crescent Street (their current home in Astoria) the moon has followed them on their journey. June 22 2024 will be a full moon. Join us beneath the bright sacred moonlight for dancing, merriment and ritual!
