As many of you have already learned, Sarah and I have decided to cancel our wedding in Monterey and say our vows in a small, at home ceremony at the Klein residence in Michigan on October 3rd. The dangers of this pandemic are very real, and for that reason we cannot risk the health and safety of our close friends and family. For our family and groomsmen/bridesmaids, a list of COVID precautions is included on the FAQ page. While up in Snowmass, CO, Shane matched with Sarah on a dating app. While they couldn't meet up then, they messaged each other for over 6 months, talking about anything and everything. By the time Sarah moved to Denver, Shane was so nervous he could barely talk to her. The first date went great....in Shane's mind. Sarah barely agreed to go on a second date. APPARENTLY (debatable), Shane was too nervous to hold a basic conversation. Luckily, she agreed on a second date. One could say that after that Shane got his courage and their relationship blossomed, but that someone would be lying. Immensely. After a month of trying to get Shane to open up, Sarah dumped Shane (cue violin). But as Shane said goodbye, he dropped the seeds for the greatest "I told you so" of his life: "It's a bummer that we couldn't ever get comfortable around each other, because I think we could have been something special" (BOOM!) Luckily, Sarah soon realized that Shane was the greatest thing since sliced tee-shots, and was clearly the perfect father for her future puppy. She conived this brilliant plan to adopt the cutest dog of all time, and then convieniently had her apartment flood with water. Shane was instantly smitten (with both), and Sarah and Larry (the dog) never quite had the motivation to move back into their apartment. So here are, two crazy kids and a Larry, wishing to share another special moment in our journey with you, our closest friends and family. Thank you all for your parts in our adventures together, and may there be many more! -Shane and Sarah
