Brandon Spang
Best Man
Brandon is Shane's brother. Raised in Pennsylvania, he moved to North Carolina immediately after high school, where he started his career as a local mechanic. Eventually, he discovered better opportunities at Cherry Point Marine Corps base. In his free time, Brandon enjoys working on his trucks, spending time with family, and playing video games on his playstation 5. Today, Brandon resides in Havelock with his wife, Ashley, and their two children, Aiden and Mila.
Frank McCauley
Groomsman
Frank is Shane's brother and became a member of our family when we adopted him during his early teenage years. After graduating high school, he honorably served in the United States Army, experiencing life in various locations around the globe. Now, Frank enjoys his free time as a blacksmith, crafting with skill and passion. He currently lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, Pam, and their four children: Josalin, Kayven, John, and Lily.
Michael Ham
Groomsman
Michael is Shane's brother and joined our family when we adopted him during his early teenage years. After graduating high school, he honorably served in the United States Army, gaining experience in various locations around the world. In his free time, Michael enjoys staying fit and managing several logistic companies in the Midwest. He currently resides in Missouri with his wife, Selma, and their son, Mehmed.
Charlie Peel

Charlie is one of Shane's closest friends and one of the first people he connected with after moving to North Carolina. He has build a successful career with UPS and is a passionate fan of Pittsburgh sports. Currently, Charlie lives in Havelock with his wife, Meghan, and their two children, Colton and Thomas.
Tyler Mooring
Groomsman
Tyler is one of Shane's closest friends. The two met in 2017 and instantly bonded over their shared passion for sports. Tyler currently works locally and enjoys spending his free time playing golf, watching sports, and staying fit. He lives in New Bern with his girlfriend, Alazia.
Jacqleen Laney
Matron of Honor
Jacqleen and Randi have been friends since they met in 2009 nursing on the surgical/trauma intermediate unit. Randi was assigned to precept Jacqleen as a new nurse and they connected instantly. They were each others emotional support through difficult long work days and outside of work. Jacqleen and Randi share the love of their pets, cooking, gardening, shopping, interior design, peanut butter, and the beach. Jacqleen is Randi's best sunscreen applier lol. In 2014 Jacqleen moved back home to PA, but their friendship and genuine care for one another has remained steadfast. Pennsylvania is a special state since one of Randi's best friends and future husband are from there. Randi is honored Jacqleen will make sure her dress is laying properly, will hold her bouquet, and give a speech at the wedding reception.
Vivian Gurganus

Randi and Vivian met in 2017 on the surgical/trauma intermediate unit nursing together. Although Randi was dayshift and Vivian was nightshift, somehow they started hanging out together outside of work. They particularly loved walking the Greenway together. Many walks and talks lead to the realization that they had a lot in common. Vivian and Randi were both goody two shoes growing up who love and respect their mothers. When Covid locked everything down Vivian gave Randi a memorable birthday party at her apartment. Randi was introduced to Publix Chantilly cake (which is now one of her favorites) and Vivian took beautiful pictures of the birthday girl-which ended up capturing Shane on Tinder (to swipe right). Vivian and Randi are both Steelers fans-thanks to our significant others ;)
Isa Smelcer

Isa and Randi have known each other since sophomore year of High School when Isa moved back to Elizabeth City. Isa is gracious and friendly which is why she was the prom queen! Class of 2003, Go Eagles! Randi and Isa got close in college when Isa came to East Carolina University in Spring of 2005 to study dietetics. (Props to you Isa and all those chemistry courses). Fun fact-Randi introduced Isa to her husband at a party. After college Randi and Isa have remained close through their hometown bonds and love of travel and cuisine. Isa is an excellent trip planner who Randi gets to see (at least annually) on an adventure sharing laughs and experiences. Thank you Isa for planning Randi's bachelorette trip. Wrangling a dozen busy women together is no easy fleet!
Ashley Campbell

Ashley and Randi met nursing together on the trauma/surgery unit in 2011. Randi was the older more experienced disgruntled nurse who would tell Ashley she was too nice lol. They got close outside of work attending jewelry parties because of their love of earrings! Ashley and Randi joined a few other day shifters to form a monthly supper club. They have grown closer over the years. Ashley is a sweet genuine person who always makes Randi feel like an awesome cook lol. She is always willing to pet sit and loves on the cats and dogs as if they're her own. Ashley and her husband went on double date with Randi and Shane early in their relationship and she could tell Shane was a keeper.
Kristen Russell
Bridesmaid
Randi and Kristen have been friends since 2003 when they met as freshmen at East Carolina University. They became roommates sophomore year and the bonds have been everlasting. As roommates for three years, Kristen is the closest to a sister Randi has ever experienced. Their relationship is built on trust, love and understanding. Randi and Kristen share quirky humor and inside language that got them through the torturous days of nursing school. They have remained present for each other throughout the years living over two hours apart. Randi was Kristen's maid of honor in 2017. Now Kristen has built a beautiful family and in addition to being a bridesmaid, her son and daughter will be ring bearer and flower girl.
Mila Spang
Flower Girl
Mila is Shane's niece. Randi has known Mila since she was three years old. Mila recently asked Uncle Shane when he was gonna marry Randi, so glad he listened! Mila will do a great job walking down the aisle. Her middle name is Rose, so being a flower girl is meant to be!
Quinn Russell
Ring Bearer
Quinn is Kristen Russell's son. He is experienced in the role of ring bearer and will be four years old when it's time to walk down the aisle. Quinn is honored to be ring security.
Caroline Russell
Flower Girl
This cutie will be 17 months old when Shane and Randi get married. If she is walking, she will join Mila as second flower girl. Either way, she will be attending to cheer on her brother Quinn as the ring bearer.
