WHERE IS THE WEDDING TAKING PLACE?

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

No-one under the age of 18 will be invited to the wedding. We want this to be a party atmosphere and ask that our family and friends understand and respect our decision

WILL ALCOHOL BE SERVED?

Answer

We certainly hope so, considering how much we paid for it! Only Beer, Wine, Champage, Seltzers and Ciders. No outside alcohol is allowed.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Business in the front and party in the back! We request that our guests wear cocktail attire. The wedding party will be dressed in shades of blue. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors in late August. Please plan your shoes accordingly. The reception tent is located right on the river which in hope will keep comfortable temperature throughout the evening. Heels may not be comfortable in grass or dock-like flooring inside the tent, wedges or block heels recommend instead.

IS THERE A RAIN DATE?

Answer

Yes. It is the same date. The wedding will happen on August 27th rain or shine. There are back up plans in case of inclement weather.

WHAT TO DO ON WEDDING DAY?

Answer

We invite you to tour the Antique Boat Museum during the day, there is no cost to you, just tell the admissions desk you are attending the Bauch-O'Brien Wedding later that day! Clayton also has wonderful local shops, coffee, and food for you to explore; spend the morning enjoying the beautiful St. Lawrence River community! The Ceremony will be held on the Antique Boat Museum campus lawn in between the Tent and the Gaffney Porch, overlooking the River's edge. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm, please do not be late. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will be held on the east side of the campus in the Yacht House. Explore the beautiful wooden boat exhibits, open bar, and passed appetizers. We will also have the most amazing photo booth experience for you to have a blast in - it also doubles as our guest book so use it as many times as you want during the evening! Dinner will be served in the main tent, followed by cake cutting and DANCING!

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly non smoking, and we ask our guests to refrain from smoking for the entirety of the event.

WHAT IS YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY?

Answer

We ask that our guests refrain from using their phones or taking pictures at all during the ceremony. There will two professional photographers documenting the entire event. We would be happy to share their pictures after our wedding. Feel free to share pictures of the pre-ceremony snacks, cocktail hour, reception. Our hashtag is #BlissfullyO'Brien
