Officiant
Shane and Michael chose Scott to officiate the wedding - how could they not? Scott has been Shane's player two since he was old enough to hold a Super Nintendo controller. Now he's giving keynote speeches to thousands of high-schoolers as Teacher of the Year. Shane is honored to have Scott as an officiant and beyond proud of him.
Ring Bearer
Looking over Wyatt's job application we were alarmed to find no professional experience whatsoever and not a single reference. But we gave him the position of "Ring Bearer" anyway because he's adorable and we love him.
Best Man
Myles is a talented musician, a best friend since third grade, and a father to Michael and Shane's Godson. You may know Myles as Batman, Jan Van Eyck, Noseboy, or any number of characters he played in a string of sugar-induced home movies he and Shane shot in high school and, embarrassingly, college. In Milwaukee Shane and Myles lived together in a house where it rained indoors. In Portland Shane was honored to be named best man for Myles and Chesney's wedding - and honored again to be named Godparent to their amazing child, Wyatt. Shane is thrilled to have Myles as his best man (and Wyatt as the Ring Bearer).
Best Man
Mimi is a jokester, a gamer, and a wine-sommelier-in-training. He's the second of five Espinozas. When Mimi was born, Michael was so excited to have a new baby brother, friend, and now - best man. While helping Mimi move into to college, Michael slept on the floor in the corner of the room... only to startle Mimi's new roommate when he came into the room at night. Surprise!

When Danielle was born, Shane knew he had a best friend for life. Growing up, Shane and Danielle were thick as thieves - falling through thin ice in the nature reserve behind their house, sprinting their bikes across a dangerous blind spot on highway 83, and pelting unsuspecting lifeguards with grapes. All things done more than once. Wherever life takes Danielle next, Shane will be there with more odd and dangerous proposals.
Groomsman
Josh is a video gamer and he listens to hip hop music at "unacceptable volumes" in the car, but Michael still loves him. He's the third of five Espinozas.
Groomswoman
Emily "Frank" Sosa is one of the most wonderful human beings on the planet. Through the crazy days at the University of Wisconsin-Steven's Point, Frank was a rock, not just for Shane but for her entire friend group. From home-cooked meals to gentle advice, she was always able to provide comfort when it was needed. Shane feels so lucky to have met Frank when he did.
Groomswoman
Jessica is a theater aficionado and an up-and-coming Actress. She's the fourth of five Espinozas. She's said to have the best laugh in the Espinoza household.
Groomsman
In 4th grade, Steve threatened to beat up anyone who made fun of Shane's new glasses. And they've been friends ever since - a friendship consisting of frozen pizzas, poorly-dubbed karate movies, and video game co-op missions where Shane was 100% dead weight but Steve managed to carry them through every time.
Groomswoman
Megan is a Brandy Melville-wearing, world-class burper who wins the award for most visits to see Michael in Portland. She's the fifth and feistiest of five Espinozas.
Groomswoman
The first thing Quesito ever yelled at Shane back in her dorm room in Steven's Point, Wisconsin was, "GET YOUR DIRTY SHOES OFF MY CARPET!" And they've been friends ever since. Her understated intelligence, sharp sense of humor, and energetic zest for life made Quesito an amazing friend in college and someone Shane continues to look up to.

Ula is pictured here in a library, her natural habitat. She is Michael's cousin and only other participant in his weekly book club. Michael grew up with Ula and has always looked up to her like a sister. She's one of the most intelligent and thoughtful people he knows. She has a big heart and forgave(?) Michael when he caused them to miss a flight to New York because he was busy getting a Torta - but did she really forgive him? Ask her to find out.
Groomswoman
At the end of high school Shane delivered to Stephanie an 8-page manifesto regarding his unrequited love for her. While the high school crush didn't quite pan out how he envisioned, he and Stephanie did grow as friends, going to the same college (University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) and even ending up, years later, in the same city on the other side of the country (Portland, Oregon).
Groomswoman
Emily is a phenomenal chef, workout buddy, and outdoor adventurer. Michael met her at the Urban Ecology Center where she volunteered and hasn't stopped talking to Michael since. She went on to become Michael and Shane's vacuum-lending neighbor in Milwaukee. Emily is the only one able to convince Michael to take back-to-back Pilates classes.
Groomsman
Thanasup "Tor Tor" Gonmanee lives in Thailand, but when Shane met him, Tor was biking around Portland, visiting coffee shops, and studying anatomical drawings for his job in the medical field. Tor is adventurous and fun-loving, always down for a hike in the Gorge, a day at the beach, or a naked (yes, naked) bike ride through the city. Though he's 7,542 miles away, he and Shane still keep in touch via messenger.
Groomswoman
Bea is fiercely independent, an ideal travel companion, and basically the future of green energy (see: career in electric cars). Michael and Bea met at Boston University, traveled together in Europe, and lived together for a short time in Portland, Oregon. They've gone on many amazing trips together and plan to go on many more.
Groomswoman
Roxanna is often called the Beyoncé of the Latin world, and is one of the original members of the CW! group. She tours globally with stops in Venezuela, The Canary Islands, Dublin, and of course London with Michael. While in London she picked up a thing or two at Harrod's as well as a super British accent after a night out with Michael at Candy Bar. She continues to rock in her high heels while being a loving mother and wife. Ask her about the accent!
Groomswoman
Sherelle is a cultural influencer. She dives in deep to music, designs with technology, and leads with style. She puts together new looks effortlessly and Michael considers her a friend, a fashion consultant, and a music guide. Whatever titles she sends over, he plays over and over nonstop. She balances working full time with learning new skills, adventuring with her partner, and riding around NYC with Ivy, her bike.
Groomswoman
Michelle will mix you a stiff drink - watch out. She was Michael's unofficial bartender in college and was conveniently living one block away. Now she lives about 12 states away in New England. She is a boss at barre class, an amazing listener and storyteller, and a dear friend.
Groomsman
Camilo is an incredible musician, dedicated husband, and budding doctor. The study circle he, Michael, and Bea formed helped get them through economics class in college. They all shared a major in Environmental Analysis and Policy. He also rocks his guitar and makes sweet songs. No matter what he says, we know his decision to move to northern California was definitely just a move to be closer to Michael in Portland.
