FAQs

The Wedding Website of Shane Reno and Kimberly Martin
Here are some frequently asked questions and their respective answers! If we're missing anything, please don't hesitate to reach out, but no promises you'll get a reply if it's during the week leading up to the wedding
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than July 1st 2026!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have set up our registry here on our Zola website, please take a look in the tabs to find it

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please feel free to arrive as early as 3:30pm, with the expectation being that most guests will arrive around 3:45pm or so. Please don't be late!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would like our guests in semi-formal attire, but beyond that is it up to you! Our color scheme involves a lot of floral/citrusy colors like pinks, oranges, and yellows. You are welcome but not required to match our color palette! The ceremony will take place in a grassy field, so to all my ladies who love your high heels, please have a plan B! It will be warm during the ceremony, but will cool down after sunset so we recommend having a jacket or shawl. Have fun with your fashion, this is your chance to dress up!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No, please do not bring any plus one's unless we expressly invited them or included them in your invitation. We wish we could include everyone, but unfortunately the space is simply too limited for this event.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your small children are absolutely welcome if we included them in your invitation! Fun bonus fact: there's a small playground at the venue that they are free to use during the reception :)

Question

I have a food allergy/dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be catered by a local Mexican food place called Caligente. Kimberly's mom, Cary, has a severe gluten allergy and has deemed them trustworthy as far as gluten is concerned. There will be non-meat options available as well. If you have any extreme allergies please reach out and we will do what we can to accommodate you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large gravel parking lot at the Lions Park venue that is free to use.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be setting anything up for this, however there are options such as Uber and Lyft available in the area.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be holding a casual day-after party on Sunday August 2nd. Location and time are TBD, though it will most likely be held by Kimberly's parents in the early afternoon till evening. The purpose of this event is so that people can spend time together in a casual environment while we're all in the same place! Also it will be Shane's birthday on that day hehe
