A long time ago, in a bar not so far away... After a drinking event commonly referred to as a "beer olympics" Shane met his friends at the River City Blues Club. Shane noticed Kimberly immediately after arriving at the dart bar. His first thought was "I really hope that isn't [Eric] Burger's girl friend." Lucky for Shane, she was Burger's cousin. After a while they got to chatting for a bit and even competed in a high stakes darts match. The group started bar hopping from place to place in Harrisburg and all throughout the night the two of them kept finding ways to talk to each other. As the night drew to a close, Shane offered to drive Burger and Kimberly home. In what is perhaps the most pathetic attempt to get a girl's number in the recorded history, Shane was ultimately successful. Later that night, Shane texted Kimberly, and not meaning to be too forward, expressed that he enjoyed meeting her and would like to see her again sometime. Wanting to seize the opportunity, Kimberly invited him over, where the two of them stayed up talking about each others interests, ambitions, and aspirations. The two of them found that they had a surprising amount of things in common. The chemistry was undeniable. Later that morning, Shane told his mom (in cliche fashion of course) "this is going to sound crazy, but I think I just met my future wife." And the rest is history. Kimberly and Shane have been all but inseparable since then.
Shane, Kimberly along with their friends Brittany, Elicia and Johnny took a private tour at Lincoln Financial Field home of the Philadelphia Eagles. At the end, they were allowed to go through the player tunnel and out onto the field. Shane repeatedly asked Kimberly to pose for a picture, but in her normal fashion, she kept putting it off. After some convincing, Kimberly finally agreed. A moment later, Shane was down on one knee with a beautiful engagement ring and Kimberly was swearing in disbelief before finally saying "yes".
