DIA Beacon
Dia Art Foundation is committed to advancing, realizing, and preserving the vision of artists. Dia fulfills its mission by commissioning single artist projects, organizing exhibitions, realizing site-specific installations, and collecting in-depth the work of a focused group of artists of the 1960s and 1970s. Dia was founded in New York in 1974 by Philippa de Menil, Heiner Friedrich, and Helen Winkler to help artists achieve visionary projects that might not otherwise be realized because of scale or scope. The name “Dia,” taken from the Greek word meaning “through.” Today it consists of nine permanent sites across the United States and Germany, as well as three changing exhibition spaces in New York State. In May 2003, Dia Art Foundation opened Dia Beacon on the banks of the Hudson River in Beacon, New York, in a former Nabisco box printing factory. The museum presents Dia’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions and public programs.
Savage Wonder Art Center
Through fully produced plays, staged readings, comedy, music, immersive art, & multimedia festivals, Savage Wonder delivers to audiences impactful live performances and gallery shows as whimsical, intimate, absurdist, and jarring as the veteran community that created them. The Parlor – a 50-seat living-room style theater. Every performance features Broadway-caliber Equity actors. Savage Wonderground – a 4,000-square-foot underground gallery devoted to veteran & veteran-adjacent artists, curated by Manhattan art-world veteran Jeannie Freilich. The gallery opened with Radical Fun, a multimedia group show of 13 artists, followed by KaleidoSCAPE, an exhibition of geometry-bending sculptures & canvases. The Grape Rebellion – a wine and dessert bar inside the century-old vault, helmed by chief hospitality officer Jeremy Plyburn offering adventurous wines & globally inspired desserts drawn from veterans' overseas experiences. John performed in their holiday show, Die Nutcracker Harder.

Shop Local! An enchanting indie book store located on the south-east end of Main Street. Shop owner Andrea Talarico is a friend & will be a joining us for the wedding as well.
Paul Brady Wine
Paul Brady Wine is a vibrant wine shop, bar, and tasting room in Beacon, New York, dedicated to celebrating the best of New York State's craft beverages. Founded by Paul Brady, a former New York Wines Ambassador and 2019 Wine Enthusiast "40 Under 40 Tastemaker," the space showcases his deep passion for local wines, spirits, and community. Every product at Paul Brady Wine—from wines and beers to ciders and spirits—is sourced exclusively from New York State. The shop features a curated selection from over 50 local producers, including five of their own custom-crafted wines currently available. Everything served at the bar is available to take home by the bottle, so you can bring your favorites with you. We also offer a rotating menu of locally sourced food options designed to pair beautifully with your drink of choice.
