Their story is not one for the faint of heart. In fact, one might say it WAS, due to their previous lives, a story of heart ache and despair. They met at a mutual friends house approximately 5 years ago. Both of them were with their previous partners, so it was drinks and casual/brief conversation. Over the next couple of years, they would see each other, again briefly, but it was always “nice” to see each other. During this time, they both had great turmoil, heart break/ache, and significant loss. Then a little over a year ago, Jodi decided to leave California and move to Arizona. One night Jodi was cooking a dinner at a mutual friends house and Shane was invited. It was crazy to hear how similar their stories were, and how much they had in common. They then decided to have dinner and talk more. It was supposed to have been just a dinner, but they both quickly realized it was in fact a date.
