How They Met

Most love stories begin romantically. Ours began in a slightly more… unglamorous and unexpected way? We met at a time when life wasn’t exactly at its best. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into deep dives about slipped discs, workouts, physio, nutrition, bladder issues… and... adult diapers. Not exactly your typical beginning. But somewhere between the laughter, honesty, and all the things most people wouldn’t talk about so early on, something felt easy. Walls came down. Conversations flowed. What started as something small slowly grew into something we both really cherish. By the time we met in person, it didn’t feel like meeting someone new. We felt like we were meeting a long lost friend, coming home to someone we had always known. like slipping into bed after a long, exhausting day or sitting down to a full meal after a workout, when our body finally exhales, and everything just feels right. Along the way, we found more than love, we found a deep friendship. A safe place, where past hurts were shared, and even the most fragile parts of us felt seen and held and comforted. Like kindred souls, quietly brought together in His time. We are grateful for our story, for the way our lives intertwined, and for His hand that gently led us here.

#YouAreMyOrange

Do you know about the Orange? They say everyone has an orange. Not someone you’ve known forever, but someone who walks quietly into your story and suddenly becomes important. The one you laugh with for no reason. The one you can talk to for hours. The one who understands your silence. The one who makes ordinary moments feel different. But oranges don’t grow all year. They arrive in the right season when quiet work has already been done. Looking back now, nothing feels accidental. Every step, every season, was gently leading us here. And when something real finds you… you stop searching. You choose it. You hold on. Because finally we found our orange in each other.
