Charleston's King Street is the epitome of Southern Charm, mixing Charleston's historic roots with a touch of modern living. King street offers a variety of different restaurants, bars and shopping for everyone to enjoy. There is street parking, and a number of parking garages just off of King Street as well!
The Charleston City Market is one of the nation's oldest public markets and the "cultural heart of Charleston". It is home to more than 300 local entrepreneurs is open every day. This area is great to walk through if doing shopping on King Street as they are easily walkable to each other! It is also surrounded by tons of eateries!
This is a local favorite and a place that we frequent way too often. It is a fun, casual environment known for their bbq, burgers, wings, and frozen beverages. If you go, make sure to order a "game changer"! There is also a Sullivan's Island Location: 2209 Middle St, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482

Everyone knows you can eat your way through Charleston as it's a "food city", but you can also drink your way through too! Hop on and off the free trolley that takes you to all the breweries on the downtown peninsula!
The Ravenel Bridge is one of the main parts of the Charleston skyline and connects Mount Pleasant to the downtown penninsula! It has a walking path that you can enter on both sides. On the Mount Pleasant side, the Bridge lets you out right at Patriots Point where you can visit the USS Yorktown, walk through multiple war memorials, have some drinks or play golf on the water, or even see Chandler's old apartment!
Water transportation departs from Downtown or Mount Pleasant! In case you didn't know...Fort Sumter is a sea fort built on an artificial island which protected Charleston, South Carolina from naval invasion. Its origin dates to the War of 1812 when the British invaded by sea. It was still incomplete in 1861 when the Battle of Fort Sumter began the American Civil War. It was severely damaged during the war, left in ruins, and although there was some rebuilding, the fort as conceived was never completed. Since the middle of the 20th century, Fort Sumter has been open to the public!
If you want to enjoy a day in the sun, this is our go to, favorite beach in the area!! (Plus you can grab a good lunch beforehand on the island!) There are two other main beaches in Charleston as well, which are Isle of Palms and Folly Beach!
