Swing by to meet everyone, break the ice, and get the party vibe started early. No pressure to stay all night—just pop in to say hi! The Island House 2658 Swygert Blvd Johns Island, SC 29455 Ceremony starts at 5pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior.
The dress code is Cocktail or Semi-Formal Attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi-floor length dress or pantsuit. Please note that the entire wedding will take place outdoors in the afternoon. Dress accordingly, bring any layers you may need. Ladies if you plan to wear heels, please know that the area will be grass and gravel. Feel free to weave in our colors, they are as follows: Dark Red, Black, Dark Green, Gold. Please avoid wearing all black outfits to let our bridesmaids and groomsmen shine. Please save beige, cream and white for our bride
The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outdoors. There will be a tent with walls incase of any weather changes.
There is enough parking at the venue for everyone. Cars can stay parked overnight as long as they are picked up the next morning by 9am. Ubers/Lyfts etc are easily assessable as well.
There will be passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. Dinner will be served buffet style. It will consist of: Salmon, Chicken Breast, Mac n Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Salad, & Roasted Broccoli. Dessert buffet to follow.
There is a button on the Home page as well as a tab on the drop down menu. After typing in your name, you should see your party listed with yours. Please RSVP no later than January 1st. If you do not, you will be marked as unable to attend.
Your formal invitation envelope will indicate guests included with your invite. Under your RSVP on this website, it’ll say who is all included in your party. If it only lists YOUR name, it is only you invited. Your family or plus one’s will be listed with yours otherwise.
