Where is the wedding?

Answer

Irwin's is a lovely Sicilian restaurant on the top floor of an old high school (the Bok building) in South Philly! You'll enter on Mifflin street and follow the signs for Irwin's until you get to the elevator, which will take you up to the 8th floor. Don't worry, we'll help you find it!

What are we doing on Friday?

Answer

We'll gather at FDR park in deep South Philly (down by the sports arenas and stadiums) for a picnic. You can put in "Boathouse at FDR Park" in google maps to find it! We'll have whole pig porchettas from Espositos and coolers full of drinks. The boathouse is a large covered space. Dress casually!

What should I wear on Saturday?

Answer

We'll be spending time both indoors and on the roof terrace at the restaurant, so wear weather-appropriate clothing. We will have a tent for the terrace in case of rain. The dress code is cocktail attire, but just wear whatever you feel fabulous in. We love an excuse to dress up, but if that's not your vibe, no worries!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Your best bet price-wise would probably be our hotel block. It's $159 a night for a nice hotel in a great location. Check the "travel" page on our website for the link to book a room. We put a couple other solid hotel options on that page as well. If you're wanting something a little more out of the box, we recommend Anna & Bel, a gorgeous boutique hotel in Fishtown (which is a fun neighborhood) or Hotel Yowie, which is in South Philly. If you find a fun air bnb but are unsure about the location, check in with us! Philly can be amazing or not so amazing depending on where you stay, so don't hesitate to ask for advice!

Where should I park?

Answer

No :) Jk, but it will be very unpleasant trying to find a spot in South Philly on a Saturday night. Highly recommend not putting yourself through that. Instead we recommend that you take the train, uber, bus, walk, bike, run, etc. Parking at FDR on Friday night (for our welcome picnic) will be available. FDR is also a short walk from the NRG broad street line station if you'd rather take public transportation!
