We got married!

What can we say, bumble worked! Even though I almost didn't talk with Shane, because the pictures didn't look like it was the same guy, I am glad I did. We are excited to share our day with all of our family and friends as we officially join our families together. We are enjoying learning how to operate as a family of 6 with all of our activities and interests.

Sitting in the tailgate of Shane’s truck in my parents driveway, Shane and I decided to hell with a big wedding and started putting plans into place for our surprise wedding. So many factors played into this decision but the biggest factor was Shane’s grandparents. Unfortunately, Grandpa Jim passed unexpectedly at the beginning of this year. Even though Grandpa was no longer with us, we knew we had made the right decision. The group that knew about our surprise was small but mighty and I appreciated every single one of them keeping our secret. It was such a joy to surprise our bridal party, friends, and family. These memories will be cherished in our hearts forever.
